Frankie ... a world of good.

I always glanced at the Frankie magazine at the newsstand but never had enough room in my hands to actually pick it up and see what it was all about. Fortunately, a friend recently recycled it onto me the other day when she was cleaning her living room and - I am oh so glad that she did.

Frankie is an eccentric magazine from Australia that comes out every two months. It covers design, art, photography, fashion, travel, music, craft, home and life. There seems to be a vintage influence throughout the mag, it is very worldly and it is very real - in a very good way.

Even though it is pressed in Australia, it gives you an insight into many women, business', fashion and life around the globe.

The flavour of the magazine for this issue is "a world of good".  Lots of fabulous articles.  There is even some wrapping paper to use.  I think it is mean't for Mothers Day.  But the sweet design that it is - can be used for anything that you like...

My favourite article in the May/June issue? "Ladder of Opportunity" 10 Things to do with old Tights. Written by The Editor, Jo Walker herself. Who would've thought? Very handy suggestions indeed!

The whole mag is very informative. Very humble. Outstanding photography.

It is not often that I would read a magazine from cover to cover - but with Frankie I did. So ladies, fill up that tub, throw in that bath bomb, pour that monstrous glass of Pinot Noir, grab Frankie and hop in. The matte printed pages make it perfect for a long soak and an interesting read.

Available in Australia, UK, Canada and other countries coming soon.
